Applicability
This schedule of tariff is applicable to non-governmental organisations that provide non-charge services including places conducting religious rites and their compounds through a single Watt-hour meter, not applicable to the state enterprises, embassies, foreign entities and office buildings of international organizations.

Billing Demand
A billing demand is defined as the maximum 15-minute integrated demand over the monthly billing period measured to the nearest full kilowatt discarding the fraction of 0.5 kW.
Minimum Charge
The minimum charge in any monthly billing period shall not be lower than 70% of the maximum billing demand charge of the preceding 12 months.
Power Factor Charge
For a customer with a lagging power factor, if in any monthly billing period during which the customer's maximum 15-minute reactive power demand (kilovar demand) exceeds 61.97% of his maximum 15-minute active power demand (kilowatt demand), a power factor charge of Baht 56.07 will be made on each kilovar in excess, determined to the nearest whole kilovar, discarding the fraction of 0.5 kilovar.

Customers under tariff No. 6.1 may choose to be under tariff No. 6.2 by notifying MEA in advance and shall pay for a TOU meter. They can be reclassified under tariff No. 6.1 if they use electricity not less than 12 months. -

Customers classified under tariff No. 6.1 shall be liable to a monthly service charge although there is no consumption in that month, while the customers under tariff No. 6.2 shall be liable to a monthly service charge in addition to the minimum charge. -

In any monthly billing period the customers, who are government institutions, and agencies with the maximum 15-minute integrated demand over 1,000 kW, or with average energy consumption for 3 consecutive months exceeding 250,000 kWh per month, shall be switched to tariff No. 4.2 of Schedule 4 as from the month following installation a TOU meter. Customers will be classified in the Schedule 2 or 3 or in the tariff No. 3.2 or in the schedule 4 in the tariff No. 4.2 depending on the case based on the characteristics of electricity usage.

The electricity tariffs herein do not include Value Added Tax (VAT). -

Electricity charges billed for each month comprising the electricity base charge according to the tariffs herein; and an energy adjustment charge (Ft), which is the uncontrollable cost of the Power Sector. Such as the cost of fuels used in electricity generation that differ from the planned value, impact from rate of exchange and inflation rate. The energy adjustment charge will also be shown in the electricity bill.
