More generally, conflicts of interest can be defined as any situation in which an individual or corporation (either private or governmental) is in a position to exploit a professional or official capacity in some way for their personal or corporate benefit.For Metropolitan Electricity Authority’s officer who has position that related in some way for their personal or corporate benefit may be faced with conflict of interest so that everyone should be considered a conflict of interest in order to prevent possible conflict of interest situations.
